GRE ID requirements in Mercosur countries (2026)

In your own country, ETS accepts a passport, national ID card, driver license, state/province ID or military ID. If you're a citizen of a Mercosur, EU, Schengen or GCC country testing in another one, your national ID card can replace your passport if it shows your name, photo, date of birth and signature. Anyone else needs a passport.

Covers: Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela.

The checker catches what this page can't: a name that doesn't match your registration, an expiry date, or a missing supplemental ID.
